Normal quality good for calligraphy pens

I'm an artist and illustrator currently working with a lot of watercolor and ink. They're definitely not of the same quality as real Zig Kuretake brush markers, but they're fun nonetheless. They don't flow that easily and sometimes when I put water on them the pigment has trouble moving across the paper. Some colors dissolve better in water than others. I have a set of watercolor brushes. These are the brushes that you fill with water. They're great for when you want a basic watercolor kit when

Another great Arteza product!

Art quality markers at an affordable price. I have some Tombow and Copic markers and I like them better. In fact, I love them so much that I've already ordered more. The colors are vibrant and blend well if you use watercolor paper. They also work well when soaked in water for easier washing. I also use them under colored pencils to quickly make a sketch under a painting. They combine well with Arteza Expert colored pencils and Arteza watercolor pencils. (I like them too and use them with my…

Decent inks with varying drying levels

I liked most of these pens. The colors are stunning and make watercoloring and painting on the go really easy. Note that, as expected, this pack does not include a water brush. That was my misreading of the description, but still I was disappointed when I opened the packaging and found I would have to buy the brush myself. In addition, some pens did not live up to expectations. They were too dry to use (even with a brush). I contacted Arteza about warranty issues on the back case and they sent…

Amazing Product

AMAZING! Okay first of all I worked in a high end art supply store for many years so I was very skeptical about buying such a cheap product but I read a lot of reviews and thought it was worth the risk. From my first sketch with them I have to say I'm in love. I love to paint with watercolors, but I never want to mess with things. This is such an amazing decision. Definitely learn to understand how to put the right amount of pigment on paper, mix it, etc. It's different from regular watercolor.

Pros
  • Smudge-Free Watercolors These drawing markers give you precise control so you can do everything from light pastel strokes to subtle shadows and gradients. No fuss, mess, mess or worry.
Cons
  • faint

Nice marker set!

These markers came in a plastic case + You could immediately see the variety of colors included in the set. It was difficult to open due to the packaging. After opening it, I tested them in a coloring book called Memory Time, one of my Japanese coloring books. I have found that you can use them in coloring books as long as you don't press too hard and allow time to dry between coats. They go very well together. I usually use my Aqua Pen in my books, along with various other mediums. These…
