These markers came in a plastic case + You could immediately see the variety of colors included in the set. It was difficult to open due to the packaging. After opening it, I tested them in a coloring book called Memory Time, one of my Japanese coloring books. I have found that you can use them in coloring books as long as you don't press too hard and allow time to dry between coats. They go very well together. I usually use my Aqua Pen in my books, along with various other mediums. These drawing pens are amazing because you don't have to keep adding water and worry about color fading while you paint. There are many different shades of blue, green, and other colors not typically found in marker sets. I love pens, but not packaging. I always have spare pencil rolls with slots for storage, so I put the whole set in a pencil roll. They fit perfectly. The pens look like real brushes + the tips keep their beautiful tips. They can cover both large areas and small complicated spaces. For these type of areas I sharpen lightly + it works great! I like the colors + the handles are comfortable to hold + work. I highly recommend them. For the price you get artistic quality drawing pencils. Fabulous. I will be ordering some to give away for Christmas. Art is certainly a great remedy for depression. If you're thinking of buying these pens, buy them. I'm sure you will be very satisfied! I am a happy buyer of Arteza branded art products. They've never been a disappointment + they're great value!
