Review on Archgon Aluminum External USB DVD+RW Super Drive for Apple MacBook Air, Pro, iMac, Mini - SEA TECH 1 by Gordie Johnson

I've been giving this thing away for over a year. It *permanently* shuts down and says it just hit a "damaged area". This happens with any disc, no matter how clean it is and no matter how easy it is to play on my home system. I'm talking about shutting down an average of 10-15 times per 40 minute show. Sometimes it starts where you left off. Sometimes you have to find out where you've been. Sometimes you need to restart your computer. Turns a 40 minute show into an hour or more. I tried to give it time, but it's complete plastic junk. I will buy another.
