Why buy disposable air filters that are half the price? I've been using one in my Pontiac Vibe for almost 10 years (maybe 120,000 miles) and have only cleaned it twice. I just installed one in our new 3rd gen Prius and it actually increased mileage by about 2mpg (which translates to about 20 more miles per tank, or a savings of 1/2 gallon on each tank). It feels like it has a little more power. I will never buy one for this car again because I already know it will last forever and will not need to be replaced. With the cleaning kit it takes about 30 minutes to flush, dry and re-lubricate the filter to good as new and this only needs to be done every 5 years. Every car you drive regularly benefits from K&N. Our local auto parts stores don't stock them, and they cost more, so. revenge Here in 2 days straight to my door.
