Attractive and pleasant replacement for a traditional garlic press. Some reviewers found it difficult to use - it takes a lot of effort to break a carnation. This requires some pressure, especially with very fresh, hard cloves. However, the same applies to the compression of a conventional press. I'm not a young woman anymore and I have no problem with that. I also find that the cloves are used more thoroughly, resulting in less waste and easier cleanup. It is particularly nice that you do not have to put bulky carnations in a small "cup". Under the seesaw you can do several pieces at the same time.
