I bought this display for my Octoprint project CR10-S400. In the near future, a frame for placement will be assembled in a small thing. The product is durable and has many connections. The circuit board is a 6-8 layer board with a thickness of 1.6mm. It comes with everything you need to assemble and connect to your Raspberry Pi. The packaging was all over with protection. The 800 x 480 resolution is more than all you need when building a platform for your 3D printer or even a command center for home automation (my next project). I will definitely use the second one. As a mechanical engineer in the field of consumer electronics, I can say that the PCB layout and soldering are of high quality. I can appreciate the air gap between the display and the PCB separating the thermal loads from the PCB to the display. This also allows me to add airflow in between if needed. It also prevents display artifacts when you click the display. The display glass was protected by a liner and placed on a metal chassis secured with double-stick foam. Longruner's customer service is amazing. I emailed to ask for the dimensions of the display and they sent me a picture with everything I needed to mark the frame design before the display arrived. This is within hours, not days. I checked that the sizes match. I was also offered their engineers if I needed anything else. When you need a great display with a company that stands behind their product and their customers. look no further. Great job Longgranner! You have a customer in my face. Will be buying another one for my command center at home!
