Larger than a typical bottom manifold and less pressure drop
I have no noticeable pressure drop with this manifold. It's as big as the hole in the tank. There was some mineral build up in my tank and I had to grind off a tiny bit of the manifold to clear the obstruction. I could remove the carbon from the tank but if I break the tank it's a big problem, if I break this part it's a small problem. As a result, there was practically no sawing off of the protrusions in the lower part of the manifold.
