It was great. . within about 18 hours. Received it on Tuesday evening. Opened the package around 2pm on Wednesday and immediately put it on our small 3" Christmas tree on the kitchen table. Put MY OWN (AA) batteries in the power supply - instead of the small flat ones - but that's fine, I have AA batteries on hand and just bought this pack from Costco a couple of weeks ago Bugs (buttons on the little remote work fine but a lot of them are dark gray with black markings... not very contrasting) I got the light working and is investigating what all 20+ (!) buttons are doing. Turned the light on for about 3 hours on Wednesday evening and then turned it off again. Thursday around 9am - turned on the tree and set the "off timer" to an 8 hour Fade mode set. Good effect. The lights are 3 colors that change from red to green to blue and back at a good speed without being a flash. It looked great on the kitchen all day entic as I walked from the office to the kitchen and back again. I left my office at around 5:30 p.m. and noticed the lights were off. AHA! More than 8 hours have passed!*** AND NOW the remote control doesn't work at all. Removed and reinserted AA batteries - no change. *** THREE MORE new fresh AA batteries installed in the power supply - no change. *** I tried all the buttons on the small remote control - no change. *** Tried to change the battery. on the remote, but apparently not all small 3V button cells are created equal, even if they are the same size. OR MAYBE THIS CUTE AND FUNNY LITTLE LIGHT IS A PIECE OF SHIT. It worked as advertised for about 8 hours. two days and died. I'm leaving with a PIECE OF SHIT.
