I filled a couple of these with water to check. I put my finger on the tip of the spout, squeezed it pretty hard and they didn't spill! I've bought similar bottles in the past and they always leak when I do. I also did a tightness test with just the little red caps, which snap nice and firmly with a distinct click. Squeezing them fairly hard, I was only able to squeeze out a tiny drop, but it took some effort. I also like the feel of these things. The plastic doesn't feel cheap and the bottle feels solid and has some advantages. To increase the volume of the jet, simply enlarge the hole in the tip. As it is, you can turn it upside down and dispense the contents drop by drop, but only by squeezing (at least with a liquid the density of water). I am happy with this purchase and will buy them again from this seller. They are definitely worth their price. So far I've used them for: denatured alcohol, distilled water, leather dye (both oil and alcohol), contact cement, leather conditioner, liquid soap and machine oil - all clearly labelled, of course. I don't normally praise products, but there is so much crap out there that it's nice to see something that does what it's supposed to do and isn't a poop product.
