Review on Filter under the sink Geyser Prestige 2 (12 l) by Stanisaw Muter ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Just super, it's beautifully made, I'm very happy with it.

I bought it primarily for an ultrasonic humidifier. Before that, I drove water through Aquaphor Modern (2 cartridges) - zero sense, the whole apartment is covered in white, now we don’t know how to wash it. Therefore, we decided that we needed a reverse osmosis filter. Friends of this type have it and the ultraviolet humidifier does not leave any plaque. I took a 12l tank, and this is quite enough for a humidifier (6l tank) and everything else. In this tank of finished water, about 7 liters are obtained! Delivered only yesterday, so not yet a complete set of impressions. It is very easy to install. Honestly, I didn’t understand these squeals on the network about “everything flows, why the FUM roll was not put in the kit”, etc. There is only one connection on the tank, which requires a couple of turns of FUM tape and that's it. 2 connections that you just need to tighten tightly, well, a tie-in, there are also gaskets and no FUM is needed. The tubes are coolly made - stuck it in and that's it, the child can do it. I specially took the simplest three-stage option, because I still don’t understand why some more pre-filters and post-filters are needed, if osmosis purifies water almost to molecules. If there was a filter with one osmosis and a tank. then he would have withered him. It is recommended to drain the water at the beginning not into the tank, but directly from the blue tube into some container until the black (coal) water stops flowing. But I didn’t have anything black in the water, clear water immediately flowed. It is a pity that the manufacturer does not make collapsible steel tanks. I don’t think it’s very difficult to do, but you’ll have to be nervous about imagining mold inside. A new tank costs 2500r. Nafig he is not needed. There are options with a transparent sort of like a collapsible tank, but the seller said that they did not take such for sale because there were a lot of customer complaints about them. By the way, the tank is just a storage tank, there are no filters or membranes inside. So theoretically it can eventually be replaced with any tank capable of holding such pressure. Maybe later I will put something of my own, for example, a tank from a spray pump. It can be taken apart and washed.

Pros
  • Easy to install Filtration quality The price is comparable with analogues There are practically no superfluous (unnecessary) filters. A decent amount of filtered water, about 7 liters. Buck from zero typed quickly enough. I listened until the drain into the sewer subsided, about 2.5 hours passed
Cons
  • - The instruction was written by some marketer. This is terrible horror. Fire this dunce. In a beautiful book on expensive paper, they did not even bother to draw a complete connection diagram indicating the colors of the tubes. I had to piece together this sacred knowledge in fragments. Part of the assembly process is generally omitted from the instructions. Fortunately, there are clear assembly videos, but enthusiasts recorded it, and you will find them anywhere, but not on the manufacturer's website. - The tank is not collapsible! (in many ads they lie, indicating that the tank is disassembled). It's a pity. Paying 2500r for a new tank just because it can't be flushed? - The manufacturer undertakes the installation only in Hong Kong and the Hong Kong region. So-so service. Even for money you can’t call a master in other cities. - They could put a cheap key for 14 in the kit. I installed it in a rented apartment, there was a minimum of tools, I was tormented by twisting with pliers. - in order to avoid inappropriate reproaches, it would be nice for the manufacturer to indicate in the description that in a 12-liter tank, about 7 liters of finished water are collected. This is, of course, a no brainer that there cannot be 12 liters of water, but not all buyers were interested in technology and are upset when they cannot pour 12 liters at a time.
