This is a quality tool - for the right situation! I love my Dewalt tools. They are well built and even appear sturdy. This is no exception. However, watch out for the word "compact” and CFM. I bought it because the description elsewhere claimed the airflow was 135 mph. But watch out for CFM (airflow in cubic feet per minute). This 100 CFM tool is designed for small areas and jobs. It's perfect for tidying up a shop, keeping a garage tidy, or for a quick refresh of patio and furniture before a BBQ. With a 3-speed shifter next to your thumb, you can even set it low enough to blow away those hard wood floors - probably not the best idea, but low speeds would be good for bench cleaning. If you're looking for a general outdoor leaf blower, check out the larger DCBL720P1 rated at 400 CFM.
