Review on Chemical Guys WAC_118_16 Anti Corrosion Protectant by Mike Palma

Jet Seal was my first step into the world of paint sealing. I read a lot of positive reviews and had high hopes. I really wanted to live this product. It holds up great, is easy to remove and looks beautiful. But this stuff doesn't hold like a sealer should. It may be a month or two before you see your water needs running out. I prefer the Wolfgang's - it's about the same price, just as easy on and off, but far outperforms the Jet Seal in looks and durability. I have a bottle and a half left so I use it for my windshields, lights and license plates but once it's gone I won't be buying any more. Honestly, if you want much better performance for a fraction of the cost, try any Collinite product instead. I use Wolfgang's every six months, top up with Collinit (which I apply every 2-3 months for maximum protection) and let the sealer dry before applying the next coat. If you want to go all out, you can even apply carnauba wax as a third coat (but don't expect triple protection) for a warm-weather look. And yes, I know that applying layers of sealer/wax is a subject that many will object to, but it suits me. I digress though, DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON A JET SEAL! Despite their clever marketing and claiming a 1 year shelf life, it just doesn't last more than a month or two in inclement weather. Not to mention that the price is absolutely absurd for what you get.
