This is indeed a study of fruit and vegetable tools

. The blades do not move. I have not used it on any fruit 🍉. I used it to cut cake 🎂 into 12 pieces. It's easy to use, but just hard to make sure it's centered. There are cake markers but they will interfere with the frosting if removed. I just wish it didn't have a hole in the middle like cake cutters. Overall, this is a really good cutting job.
