This kit is an absolute must. I see a lot of stuck nuts/bolts, rounded hexes, and bolts with fully broken hexes in my work. I've tried other brands and watched them bend, crack and break when trying to remove stuck fasteners. However, not protos. They continue to impress me and I have complete confidence that I can achieve the impossible every time I pick up this set. I nailed them to the studs and head studs (see picture) with a sledgehammer and used my weight to press them onto the end of the pry bar with the 4ft lintel attached. They do not care. You cannot break these. The black coating on the inside of the flutes hasn't even started to wear off on most of them. If you think it's expensive, don't factor in the time, stress, headaches, and work you'll save, not to mention they'll stay with you for the rest of your life. If you just don't like drilling fasteners, tapping new threads, and installing larger screws in your blanks, I have no idea why you don't already have this set.
