My husband says it's not as hard as at the hairdresser's. As a result, he does not comb his hair as quickly and easily. I thought a soft brush would work, but it doesn't work as well as a hard brush. The size is also a little large, but that wouldn't be an issue if the bristles were a bit stiffer.
