Great USB DVD/CD drive. Excellent value for money, downloadable, perfect for installing operating systems on mini laptops without a CD drive. This inexpensive CD/DVD player performs better than some DVD-ROM drives on my laptop. On the one hand, if you place this drive on a solid, hard surface and read intensively from the drive, there will be a slight vibration since the drive is very light. However, this can be easily remedied by placing the CD/DVD on the mouse pad; then everything is quiet and works great and like new. On some small mini laptops, when booting from a DVD (for installing the OS: for the techies :), the PC cannot "see" the USB drive, often if you just plug them all in and let the drive reboot. Found it and everything works as it should. In summary; Great product, fast shipping, exceeded my expectations for a small (very affordable) disc. I will be buying more for our computer technology department to have on hand when needed.:::Well done:::
