This is the third wall mount I have installed. Although it was more functional than most other mounts, it was fairly easy to install. However, I will say that you should plan on getting someone else's help - at least for installing the TV and possibly parts of the installation itself. For a number of reasons we decided that a good place for our old TV would be in our work/ exercise room would be. There was no suitable place to put it other than a wall and we needed a wall mount. We knew that we would be able to adjust the TV's angle/direction depending on the viewing purpose and that we needed something fairly robust. All requirements were thus fully met. Due to the different mounts, the TV doesn't sit flush against the wall like many mounts and sticks out a couple of inches more, but other mounts can't do that. My previous two mounts were skinny. compared to this animal. The thing weighs 18 kilos (!) and is extremely durable. Installation took about 45 minutes, of which I needed help for about 5-10 minutes. It has some flexibility in mounting the swing arm, and we chose to move it to the left of center. If you do, I strongly recommend making the standard changes BEFORE wall mounting. All in all a great holder with many functions and very well made.
