Review on πŸ” Denso 234-4064 Oxygen Sensor: Premium Performance for Optimal Engine Efficiency by Tyler Owens

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Some modifications required 08' Toyota Avalon XLS

Overall a great deal from Revain. fast delivery. When I got under my car I finally replaced the bank 2 sensor 2 oxygen sensor. I noticed that the connections on the original sensor are not the same as on the Denso 234-4064. I had to cut the connector off the failed sensor and connect it to a new O2 sensor. I cleared the check engine light after some modifications and replacements. Until the light came back. I will post updates in a few days. My gas consumption seems to be back to normal. Before the new sensor, I would have barely gotten 23mpg. Now I see a high 24 mpg. This might be the gasoline I'm using now, but I've seen 30mpg on my car in the past. Update June 27, 2013: Sensor 02 was installed on June 23, 2013 after a connector modification. Reset fault code p0157 the next day after installation. I was driving and the check engine light and VSC light would not go back. I'm sure this problem has now been fixed. So far I've seen an improvement in MPG over 25 MPG. So far, so good. Update 07/09/2013: The 3-hour drive lasted just long enough for my car's computer to stabilize the consumption ratio. The MPG on my Avalon averaged 31mpg per ride. Although some modifications were required as the original part was not plug and play. My car drives like before. A good product.
