Very weak jet in dental floss and toothpicks

The water pressure of this machine is very weak. I am skeptical about the ability to clean between teeth. I bought this to replace a Sonicare irrigator (battery failure) that had a much stronger pulse. I also had a Waterpik before which also had a much higher water pressure.
