I bought two of these in February this year and have already had to replace a part under warranty. Now the impeller of my Cascade 1500 is loose and pumping water. The filter started making a grinding noise. I opened it up and found that the impeller didn't fit snugly in the bushing, which allowed the shaft to slip out. The rattle I heard was a magnet spinning on a shaft rattling in a plastic impeller that was no longer attached. At first they looked like quality parts, but it has now turned out that this is not the case at all. I tried to request a replacement part under warranty, but the warranty form actually asks for money to replace the defective part.
