It works! Seriously, I get horrible sulphite migraines and I've been searching for this miracle my entire adult life. It's perfect? No, it takes me 6 minutes to pour a bottle of wine and I have to change the filter for each bottle, so it's not cheap. But does it work? YUP! No more migraines! In that regard, it's worth every penny. Some people claim that this makes the wine taste different, and it's true that the lack of sulphites makes the wine taste better. Much better! It actually makes the wine taste like it should taste and more like expensive European wine. I love the carafe as it makes filtering easier than just trying to pour Ullo into a glass. I've done this too and it works, but after a glass or two it gets a bit heavy and I broke a few glasses that way trying to pour slowly. The carafe is nice, thick and solid. Definitely attractive enough to perform at a good party. Very happy with this purchase!
