Good size handy drill

I have a few other cordless drill/screwdrivers but I saw that it's a hammer drill, it's not a hammer drill. It will still work for 98% of what I do. But it looked compact, a lot easier to throw in a truck than the big ones for that odd little job, and it's got plenty of parts you might need for minor repairs. This is a nice little DIY kit. It's small, light, comes with lots of screwdrivers and a couple of drill bits. He even comes with a pair of gloves (kinda screams "DIY" when he has gloves). The battery needs to be removed from the drill when you put it in the case, if you want it closed it's good practice and when it's going back on the shelf you really want the battery out of the tool Will get removed. If you're the kind of person who would hang up a smoke alarm, remodel some closets, maybe even build a doghouse or put up shelving in the garage, this is perfect. It's very light and very easy to hold when screwing something overhead or to a wall. Feels great in your hands. The biggest issue I see, aside from the impact issue compared to an impact drill, is the battery. there is one When a lithium-ion battery dies, it's dead. With other older (heavier) batteries, they wear out, drilling or screwdriving becomes slower, and then you know it's time to charge the battery. So you end up doing what you do and changing it. Lithium-ion batteries die. It doesn't matter if the screw is halfway, it stops, you can't get a good stopping point. And this drill comes with only one battery. So if it runs out, no matter where you are, it's time for a breakdown because you can't just replace the battery, you have to charge it. Now I'm pretty sure it will run for hours before needing to, depending on what you're doing they run for quite a while, but if you're starting a big project (like building a garage) this shouldn't be the Case its t its your only exercise. I don't know if this company makes replacement batteries or not. Let's hope they do, otherwise the kit will become scrap when the battery can no longer be charged. The product description page is much more helpful than the included instructions. Things like the multicolored LEDs on the side and what a solid red light means when the battery is in the charger are stated on the product description page but not included in the instruction manual. Good product, hope it lasts a long time.
