I don't quite understand why this woodpecker mixture is called this. All birds seem to love it. We plant this seed in the evening and it quickly disappears. Especially blue jays and pigeons. It comes shellless, mostly with peanut halves, so they consider it a real buffet. The only downside is that the walnuts are a bit bulky. Since there is no shell in this nut, you won't have the same mess as other brands. As an additional feature, the packaging is resealed. You really can't go wrong with this seed mix.
