The filter holds the substrate firmly

The filter holds the coffee grounds well at the bottom and really stops the brewing process when pressed. I was skeptical when I bought it, but found that if I poured water into this empty container with the plunger half-pressed, no water would seep down through the filter. Impressive! So don't worry about your coffee continuing to brew in the glass. The thermal insulation is also great – I usually have to add some cool water to bring it to a comfortable drinking temperature after it has brewed so that it stays warm for a long time. Time. Also easy to clean. The silicone rings detach from the screen filter and go through the top quite easily. I often leave them on and only rinse off the fully assembled part, which is easier than cleaning typical three-piece French press filters. First because there is nothing to stabilize the appointment until the widest part of the bent piece of metal touches the sides of the glass. This is not difficult, but note that if you are careless, the silicone ring does not come into contact with the glass along the entire perimeter, and its bases can slip away.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive insurance
