This adapter worked perfectly for about a month and a half. Two weeks into the return period, however, it began to malfunction frequently: the adapter suddenly had very poor signal strength, transmitting no more than 48% power, and shutting down at seemingly random intervals. Sometimes its connection is stable for several hours; This morning it started shutting down after being on for less than a minute. After two long, frustrating weeks and many hours of troubleshooting, I've narrowed the problem down to one thing: the adapter itself. Save yourself the time and hassle and just shell out a few bucks more for a genuine Intel item.
