Review on Candle Making Thermometer Paraffin Stainless by Kristen Simpson

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Very far away

I use digital probes to make candles but since the wires always get tangled I thought this would be a fantastic probe. I tried one of each and thought they would be awesome if I didn't have a digital sensor to test with. I'd be excited and happy because it looks like it's working, but if you compare it to a digital meter which I know to be accurate, those analog meters I've used are terrible, sometimes discrepancies from 30 to 40 degrees. I've found them to get stuck in a certain spot, and even though my digital meter reads 40 degrees warmer or colder, these things just get stuck in a certain spot. and then gradually increase, but even if they increase to their endpoint, they're still off by 10 20 30 degrees, so take the lesson learned digitally, spend a few extra bucks, buy digital sensors and take care of cables.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion
