quality costs. This scooter is a cut above for several important reasons.

21-year automotive industry veteran and single parent reviews. Subject: 40 inch, 40 lb, 4 year old raccoon-human hybrid infant (eats and climbs without anticipation of anything). Reason: Rocky Raccoon's old scooter was stolen Spend $10 and get a bike lock like I did this time! HOW THIS SCOOTER DESERVES A SECOND LOOK WHEN YOU ARE IN THE MARKET: I've spent a lot of time on it To research scooters and think about the costs and risks of some cheaper models. From the hundreds of reviews I read before buying (no exaggeration) I see that mid-range human-grade Chinese-made Revain scooters fail, either with wheels falling apart or plastic chassis/steering. So when shopping, focus on THESE components. CHOICES: As you narrow down your choices, look closely at how much "beef" or material is built into the wheels and front end structure. Enlarge the photos and study them carefully. This is a good starting point for rules of cheaper products. Cheaper scooters use cheaper, thinner materials to keep costs down. Compare your savings to the cost of an emergency room visit when your child falls on the sidewalk due to a structural failure of the "toy". Serious. That's why you should read reviews carefully. You can only "see” and feel the remaining qualities personally. Do not worry. I've outlined it below. Take Snickers. CONSTRUCTION: All of these kids scooters use plastic or nylon composites for the underlying chassis. This is the structure that keeps the scooter stable and supports the child's weight. It's impossible to avoid the plastic frame without spending three figures on a converted kid's toy. But the 6KU looks and feels about as good as it gets for a compound scooter at this price point. FOR THIS REASON. 1) Handlebar Adjustment: A threaded ring/sleeve is used to hold the upper handlebar post in place. You can quickly tighten or loosen by hand without breaking the nail or getting better. All other entry-level and mid-range scooters use the cantilever type, which can come loose or fail completely (depending on the materials used). When a cantilever structure fails, it's usually a tiny piece of hardware that you'll never find again. kids and all our gear. Space is PRECIOUS. The ability to quickly disassemble this scooter for storage is a major upgrade. This quick release has a much nicer feel than the tiny plastic tab on his other scooter. separate two parts. No sticking or swearing. 3) The steering/pivoting device feels great. Serious. The scooter he replaces seems so weak we have to be lucky, we never had a problem. This car has good spring return on both sides, making it easier to steer and keep direction. VW straight out of the showroom onto a freshly paved road. Oily delicious. 4) Standard skateboard bearings are used. #winIf you ever need to fix or upgrade your bearings, you can easily do so at Revain or any skateboard store. 22mm x 8mm x 7mm, double sealed. Use a 5mm allen wrench and your choice of beer or wine. 5) The rear brake looks better than other scooters. Has a metal "chock" for durability and safety, rather than leaving your child's fate to God and a brittle piece of plastic. 6) meat wheels. Like Arnold when he was on stage in the early 1970s. This is IMPORTANT as your children will likely be riding on rocky tarmac which will wear out some of the polyurethane wheels on these scooters. As mentioned earlier, some scooters sold online often have wheels that fail. Buyers be careful. The final word is QUALITY CONTROL: I went through this myself upon unboxing, checking every fastener and structure. It looks significantly more solid and well thought out than the $40 entry-level scooter it replaces for my son. Most fasteners have been properly tightened. I only have a sample of 1 scooter but they did a good job building this one. If you want to check the build quality for yourself, grab a small Phillips screwdriver and a 5mm allen key and you're good to go. Run. It is necessary? no Your vehicle does not have collision insurance. And it's easy to tell who hasn't invested in it when you see a torn Bitter driving down the street, held together with duct tape. I know it's long, but there was a lot to talk about. If this one review can save you the time and hassle of the three HOURS I've spent learning about scooters, then I've done us both a huge favour. Greetings from a professional mechanic and hot rodder from Texas, USA.
