This item was purchased online in April 2019 and is registered with Sigma. In the summer, the autofocus gave me problems. I thought maybe I was expecting him to focus too quickly. In October it stopped working completely. I contacted Web Orders and was told that I had to work directly with Sigma as the return period had expired. That makes sense and I appreciate the speed of this answer. I contacted Sigma and they told me that Web Offers is not on the official dealer list and is sold on the gray market. They asked for my serial number and confirmed that my camera was a Sigma USA model. As I bought it from online deals, Sigma considers it used and will not honor the four year warranty. I appreciate the communication with both companies but am disappointed. I will no longer buy from web offers as they advertise a broken guarantee. I am disappointed with Sigma for accepting the registration from me at the time of purchase and not stating that it was in use at the time. That's the only reason I won't buy a Sigma product. Very disappointed with product and warranty. Next time I throw $400 out the window I'll go straight to Nikon. I think this is my fault and was warned about it when purchasing photo products. I'm sharing this so people can do better research than me. Looking at reviews was not sufficient in this scenario.
