I bought these to polish open grain hardwood and when they used them they released a lot of white lint from the buffing wheel which ended up spilling all over the shop and into the Fibers got stuck Cleaning took almost an hour. The only reason this review doesn't have a 1 star is that if you polish something perfectly smooth like my bar table which I will also polish there will be no problem other than the mess it will leave. Just don't buy them if you're going to use them on something with rips or holes where all the white cotton fluff will get caught.
