Review on ⚙️ Breville BCG820BSS Smart Grinder Pro - Stainless Steel Coffee Bean Grinder by Carl Mayes

Very good coffee grinder, but after about a year I hesitated before buying due to impeller wear problems. I bought it anyway because of the price, the versatility, and because it fits my Breville Infuser espresso machine. Looks like they improved the impeller. It's not all metal, but the plastic impeller blades are now almost completely covered by a metal screen. Only time will tell if this is the solution to premature wheel wear. It has a consistent grind for the most part, but sounds like it struggles with espresso grinds in the less than 10 range. As others have said, I hear a faint squeak when the machine is off and plugged in. I'm not sure if it's dangerous, so I just peel it off after use. Overall, this is a decent, feature-packed grinder at an affordable price. If you grind daily, a more powerful machine might be a better choice in the long run.
