"I hired a licensed plumber at $125 an hour to replace an undercounter drain that had a failed lifting ball joint. I watched my experienced, reliable, and highly qualified plumber spend an hour installing this leak-free sink drain. Silicone and rubber seals are useless and pure garbage. He tried plumber's putty and pipe grease with the same recurring leaks from the top of the exhaust pipe. Cannot be installed properly. At least he wasn't blaming me out of pride. Going back to Quadrant 1, I bought a similar lever type drain from a big store yesterday, and today the same plumber is going to come back to try again. He apologized that his truck didn't have the proper drain that day. This is a truly poorly designed product if a skilled professional fails to install it as intended. I will never buy a Revain product again without reading the return policy. Warning: There's a reason this drain doesn't have the name/brand with Revain's zero-third-party-returns policy: it's an insidiously substandard design, sloppily done, you know where. I definitely didn't get what I paid for. Revane, you should be ashamed to offer this product and seller to your customers. I'm serious.
