I received this miracle unit 8 years ago as a gift. Used regularly as a mixer. In the last year, I used it almost daily as a blender: submersible for smoothies, chopper for puree. At first, he got sick when grinding a mixture of dried fruits (dried apricots, prunes and honey) - the plastic gear in the “lid” of the chopper was worn out, a couple of cloves were bent. Most likely, she is to blame - she did not master such a dense texture. After that, he could grind only light mixtures, but at the same time he rumbled terribly and got stuck. The immersion blender and mixer continued to work properly. About a month later, the unit itself broke down - neither the mixer nor the blender turns. I didn’t hand it over for repairs - the warranty ended a long time ago, and I already wanted a stationary blender / mixer. Unfortunately, these are already 2 different units and they take up 3 times more space. Perhaps now the build quality or the parts themselves have already changed, but if it weren’t for a breakdown, I would gladly use the mixer to the last. I had no problems with pressing the button to remove the nozzles.
