Review on 🔪 Tandy Leather Craftool Strap Cutting Tool 3080-00 by Kristen Reid

This is by far my favorite leather instrument. Before purchasing, I laid out the leather, measured each strap, and cut it out with a utility knife and long ruler. It's much faster and more consistent. I've used it in leathers from 5 to 13 ounces, mainly chrome tanned with different finishes for different characters from soft to hard. When used on some types of leather it can warp, but on a belt this is imperceptible to the eye, it only occurs after many cuts on a plate (usually on the skin coming off the shoulder, and in any case it stretches out more). I have already ordered more blades but due to the pandemic they have been in the mail for weeks but I was able to sharpen them with a whetstone and belt with a hemostat which made them brand new. Great purchase, I don't know why I spent so much time and energy cutting any other way.
