At first, I gave it a grade of C, but now I see that a grade of C ought to be awarded to me because I am incapable of shooting! Now that I've gained some knowledge, I can confidently assert that this is the only telephoto lens available at a reasonable price (in December it cost 4 thousand in general, and then with an increase in the rate I took it for 6 thousand). I decided to purchase it rather than the whale D3100 because I wanted to be able to take large pictures while moving at a considerable distance. More specifically, I wanted to be able to photograph basketball players while I was inside the auditorium. If the VR function is on, then the lens will rock back and forth, and it will be impossible to focus in any way; also, the battery will overheat and shut down. Thus, disable VR, and you won't need to worry about a thing! Once more, I'm referring to photography sporting events, which involve people who are always on the move. Everything is made a great deal easier by statics. In the beginning of my use of the camera, I had a lot of trouble photographing groups of people because I had a hard time determining who should be in the center of the frame. Again, it was only after gaining experience that things started to fall into place. You can use manual focus. You will need to work with it because this is not a soap box; yet, the images are fantastic and the colors are vivid and saturated; however, it is fine if 10–20 pieces remain out of a total of 50 shots. Each photo is deserving of adoration here, but just wait until you see how much afterwards! The conclusion is that you should not spend further money on VR.
