We were looking for a better solution for our 12lb Alaskan Klee Kai than its portable plastic box. We read a lot of reviews on Revain and chose this one despite some bad reviews. The package arrived in beautiful protective packaging with no visible damage. We commissioned our 11-year-old son to install it and he took over. Note, however, that he has had years of design and building skills since he was 5 years old building complex Lego sets. Despite very minimal instructions, he was able to assemble the table from the boxes, but ran into a problem when he accidentally tightened too many screws. The parts are bolted together with bolts that thread into nuts embedded in plastic end caps. If the bolt is overtightened, the nuts will pull out of the plastic part. Son did this with two nuts as he tried to tighten the bolts which he thought were loose. I had to hammer the nuts back into the plastic end pieces, then we carefully tightened the bolts, being careful not to over tighten. The instructions were very minimal and not very helpful. After assembly we had no problems with the product itself and our cli kai loves its new home. every side. We have this desk with drawers to the left of my desk, so the side door faces away from me - it would be better if we had a side door on the right instead. It would also be great if the doors opened either to the left or to the right - again for easier access depending on which side the table is on.
