This is exactly what I expected. I can use it anywhere, on my desk to get up, on the couch (with my legs up - LOL) or even when I'm not feeling well I can use it in bed. The hands move very easily and the dial is marked so you can make sure you set them the same on both sides. It comes with a USB cable that you connect to your computer and then to the fan. There is an on/off button for the fan. This is a nice feature as my computer sometimes overheats when I work on it for hours. Now you may have to buy your man.
