Review on Xspec Pro Stunt Kick Trick Scooter: Strong Aluminum Deck, White & Black w/Skulls - Superior Performance and Style by John Greene

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Read the fine print

The scooter looks very cool and feels nice and heavy. However, when trying to install the steering wheel, it was very difficult to align them. As soon as we put them on and tightened, my son started riding and the handlebars shifted immediately. So we tried to get up and pull ourselves up. It took almost all of our body weight to tighten and it still moved, then the screws sliced so we couldn't get them out. Unfortunately, in 15 minutes at home I managed to scratch it, I don't even know how. It looked like the bear was scratching the ground (unless that was the case when it came out of the box and we didn't notice). As Revain is great at handling returns (never had a problem) I just decided to return this to get a new (different brand) one. I received a message from the seller/manufacturer asking for a video of the problem. Because if we were to send it back, we would have to pay shipping, there would be a $45 restocking fee, and the refund would not be contingent on the scooter not being worn. So we were stuck with a broken scooter and ended up paying $150 for a good one at the local bike shop. After $250 I learned my lesson.
