I wasn't sure how well it would work because it looks cheap. My other option was Bluetooth tracking, but I didn't want to pay that much for a device. It was such a great purchase that I wish I had bought it sooner. I always lose my Roku remote and end up turning my whole house around to find it. My two year old often has it and then goes away. I attached one of the receivers to my Roku remote using the included sticky pads and tested it. The beep is loud enough to be heard, but not too loud, it's annoying. I would not recommend using it next to a sleeping baby as it makes a loud noise. Now I hope my remote control is lost so I can use this device to find it! I also attached receivers to our keys and put one in my wallet. Our two year old hides everything, so now I win at hiding. Each receiver comes with a battery that you need to insert, but the remote control DOES NOT come with batteries. One star deducted for that. You need two AAA batteries. As you can see from my photo the receivers are not huge but are a good size. I also like that the kit comes with stickers and labels to stick on the remote so you know which button corresponds to each receiver. I highly recommend this product and will buy extras as gifts.
