Review on Fluval External Fish Tank Filter by Amanda Stevenson

I have a Fluvial 406. This filter has to be the worst if not the worst filter I have ever bought in my life. I am absolutely AFRAID of changing the filter and waiting as long as possible to do it (unfortunately to the detriment of my fish) knowing it will be an excruciating 3 hour operation. I'll start with the weight of the filter. It is very heavy when filled with water. Every time I start changing the filter, water runs down my wooden floor. Impossible to unhook and wear without spilling water everywhere. But that's just the beginning of the agony. Once you drag it to the sink, spill water all over the place, and change it, which is easy enough, the fun begins - the pouring. I spent hours filling this filter with a small pump until my fingers started bleeding and the white cap came off - still no luck. I turned the filter upside down to get water into the hoses but to no avail. I've watched every video on You Tube how to fill up which makes it so easy - never works. When I get it to fill up, it takes about a day for the filter noise to start making noise again and I have to start over. At the moment I have three fish left. I love all beings but this filter made me secretly wish they were dead to end the pain of changing filters. It made me hate being a fish lover. I do NOT recommend.
