Review on Stant 14289 Thermostat Degrees Fahrenheit by Haggis Bryant

This is the exact same part as the original Cummins 190 degree thermostat on a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500. When I compared the factory I took out to the stant 14289 the stamps were on the metal and everything else identical. The same markings, the same fonts on the markings, the same poetry. I've heard that the Cummins thermostat is special because it's designed not to open to prevent overheating, but comparing this part to the one I took off I can only assume that Stant is their Cummins supplier. The operating characteristics are the same. The engine keeps the same temperatures as in the factory.
