Review on CTA Tools 1080 Mercedes Socket by Darrell Shreves

This tool is so poorly made that it didn't even survive a strut/spring change without breaking. The flanges/notches on the tool that must fit the slot in the nut are made of such cheap "pot metal" that they shear off when the torque is applied to loosen and further remove the nut. I had to fix the tool several times with a Dremel sander to keep the necessary leverage. It's boring, cheap, poorly designed, and very poorly made. If this is a genuine Mercedes Benz tool I would be surprised. It's more disposable than useful.
