Review on 🛠️ 262pc Metric and SAE Thread Repair Kit - CO-Z HSS Drill Helicoil Kit, M5 M6 M8 M10 M12 1/4" 5/16" 3/8" 7/16" 1/2" (mm and Standard) by Robert Gilbert

I currently only use the 1/2-13 set as I mainly use coiled coils for aluminum fasteners as in the picture above. But while they work great I've only ever bought Helicoil brand spiral coils but thought I'd see how this set worked so I have a few different sizes just in case. The drills and taps are sharp straight away, or at least I had them, I didn't have to sharpen them, the socket tool is good if you use it, don't forget to use the locking ring to adjust the depth, it's also good but I prefer the coiled helix because I'm used to it. Pay attention to the impact thought, it could be that the dead impact hammer I used chewed on the faces, but the plastic cover lasted maybe 10 hits if you remove the top, no big deal as the plastic isn't a functional part you need to know about. Overall this is a good set and the coils work great, they really are stainless steel so that's always a plus.
