Used for 1 week and the manual override no longer works

The unit seemed to work properly for about a week, I've only used the manual override 3-5 times during that week. Then the manual override stopped working. I had just closed it a few minutes earlier, then had to shut it down again and pressing the button did nothing. I need a manual shutdown, so it's useless for me right now.
