As long as you all have phones, I don't need them and the hassle they bring.

I'm not sure about this phone. I received it yesterday and I can't activate it. When I tried to enter the last 4 digits of my newly dialed phone number, they were not accepted. The button didn't work. The system says that the SIM card that came with the phone is invalid. I don't have a car so I can go to Verizon or Walmart for help. I don't have another phone available. I can't contact Verizon online except through the chatbot and it's useless. I wonder if this is a refurbished phone?
