This is my first review. There are many complaints about this fan, so I wanted to give my $0.02. Bought a 72" fan for a country house. It was a big waste of money but I love windmills and I really like the fan. I mounted it to an 18 foot ceiling with a 6 foot ground pole. I suspect that some of the negative reviews are due to the fan having electronics that don't respond immediately to remotes or wall controls.I thought my block wasn't working.Impatiently I turned off the switch and caused a lot of trouble before I accidentally straightened waited long enough. then it started spinning. first back and forth. slowly then fast. then it settled and just works. The instructions also say that the fan doesn't spin until you press the button, while it's running It's illogical but it's true Reverse mode works fine Wall mount I contacted the seller through Revain and received control within 2 days via the electronic wall. It's quite a responsive service and that made me happy. Assembly videos are available on YouTube. With >100 screws to mount it's a bear. But with patience and care, following the instructions and some skill, it was perfectly balanced, without hesitation and almost completely silent. I was amazed by the precision and design of the parts and how they fit together as a whole. The air movement won't blow you away, but I still don't like ceiling fans that speed. I can feel a breeze (light) sitting underneath and it's still about 12 above my head. Very satisfied. Conclusion: If you don't like the look and windmills, it's not worth the price. There are other fans too. If you don't like packing or don't have someone to do it for you, don't buy. For her. I think any 72" fan would be hard to hang up, so that's not the reason anyway. None of the flaws are a problem for me. I like the fan very much.
