Since this was my first tattoo, I really liked it. Everything works (according to my friend for whom I bought it), the color of the ink has a wide variety. I've always been the type of person who was afraid of getting a tattoo but really wanted one. Now I have a tattoo that I have wanted for at least 8 years and I am very happy with it. No, I don't think it's for beginners. I didn't look at the instructions because my friend doesn't need them. He has had kits before and says this one compares really well to his previous one.
