It was used for sealing around air filter
This was perfect for mounting a filter inside of a box. I needed a filter and box for a project. The box "artbin 12x12" was 12 inches on a side and 3 inches thick. This 1 inch foam tape sealed the top and bottom of the box, the filter fits in between. This insulation is open cell and seals very well to a cardboard filter. The box opens and allows changing filters easily.
