One thing that has happened to many small modern Ultrabooks and laptops is that the built-in Ethernet port is a thing of the past. This is to be expected since our world is so wireless now, but there are cases where Ethernet is required for higher bandwidth and consistency, or if you're just working in a harsh environment. Docking stations with ethernet when that's the only connection you need when you're out and about, it's inconvenient when a shorter cable is better for connecting to systems. This is where the Afterplug USB-C to Ethernet Adapter comes in. I tested it with my Dell XPS 9710 and Acer Swift 3 connected directly to my Gigabit Ethernet network and it got 875Mbps+ and my other desktops work as intended. I also like the looks and build quality.5/5
