This camera worked right out of the box when connected to Ubuntu. It has a higher frame rate and better quality than my built in camera on my Dell Latitude laptop and adds an additional ring display. high modes. The camera is also fairly sensitive and works in low light, meaning you don't need to shine a ring light to use it. All in all a great upgrade for my standard camera.
