UPDATE: 06/10/17 - Upgraded from 3 to 5 stars. Nonda has redesigned this adapter and ships a new model that is slightly smaller than the old one and works well with the 2016 MacBook Pro. It pairs well with every USB-C cable I've tested it with, including third-party USB-C to DisplayPort, USB-C to USB-A, and USB-C to DisplayPort adapters (see new version) and older versions side by side). [Original Review] This item is well built and works with every USB-A device I've tried it with so far. However, as other reviewers have noted, when using [the original Nonda model] with a 2016 MacBook Pro, it prevents any other cable (other than the Apple USB-C charging cable) from being plugged into the adjacent USB-C port. I believe Nonda's design predates the new MacBook Pros, so it's not Nonda's fault, but buyers should be aware.
